Bringing Red-Haired Shanks back to the anime series for the first time in many years (more so when you realize how long it’s been since he and Luffy have seen each other), introducing his daughter Uta to the series, fans have been flocking to the movie since its release and Toei Animation has every reason. Directed by Code Geass Franchise Manager Goro Taniguchi, by One Piece: Gold Writer Tsutomu Kuroiwa, and with original series creator Eiichiro Oda as creative producer, Crunchyroll teases what we can expect from One Piece Movie: Red as such:
